Events at banting

 Check out our regularly-scheduled events:
Gym: Go for a credit, or go for fun!  Banting is happy to offer phys ed on a regular basis. Participate as often as you would like for fun, work towards a phys ed credit, or both.

Sara will be at the GRC Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays first block. Build some muscle and learn how to weightlift. Don't know how to lift weights properly? No problem. That's what Sara is there for. The GRC is also a great place to run or use other cardio equipment too.

It's never a waste of time to improve your physical fitness. Why not do so with your Banting friends? See you there.

Trader Fred Trader Fred is a place to help yourself to gently used pre-loved clothing items and accessories.  A big shout out to all the great people who have donated to Trader Fred!  Students are encouraged to take a look because there are some really great items.  We are also doing our part for Plant Earth by giving goods a second life instead of going in a landfill!

Student of the Week  Every week Frederick Banting recognizes students who have made an effort and made a personal improvement, often separate of their academic progress.  Each week we draw from a list of teacher/staff nominated students.  Every student has an equal opportunity to win a Subway or Tim Horton’s gift card!

Did you know... ... Our Student Kitchen is open at 8 a.m. to 8:50 a.m. and at every break and after school until 2 p.m.  Every student is welcome to enjoy tasty, healthy snacks!
